Exposure to Environmental Factors
Excludes loss or damage due to aridity, humidity, light, or heat exposure, unless caused by fire or storm.
Damage During Restoration
Excludes loss or damage occurring while repairing, reframing, restoring, or retouching the artwork.
Rust & Oxidation
Excludes damage caused by rust, oxidation, moths, vermin, warping, or shrinking of the art.
Trade in Fake Artworks
Excludes coverage for artwork that is identified as a fake or counterfeit.
Loss Due to Partner or Director Collusion
Excludes loss resulting from fraudulent activities involving collusion by a partner or director
Inventory Loss at Art Fairs
Excludes coverage for losses at art fairs unless specifically notified to the insurer.
War & Terrorism Risks
Excludes damage caused by war, warlike activities, or terrorism unless specifically opted for as an extension.
- If the appropriate waiver is not opted for, then the policy will not cover
- Treatment of pre-existing illnesses.
- Any treatment for illnesses/diseases within the first 30 days of the policy, unless it is an accident.
- Treatment of specified illnesses for the first year of the policy.
- Certain diseases like hernia, cataract, piles, sinusitis, etc are excluded during the first year of operation in the cover.
- Any claim arising out of or traceable to pregnancy.
- Ayurvedic, homeopathy, naturopathy or any other form of local medication.
- Alcoholism, drug abuse, and AIDS.
- Dental treatment or surgery unless it requires hospitalization.
- Cost of spectacles.
- Vaccination and inoculation.
- Cosmetic treatment.
