Willful Non-Compliance
Excludes liability arising from intentional violations of statutory provisions.
Fines and Penalties
Does not cover fines or penalties imposed due to non-compliance with legal regulations.
Employee Injuries
Excludes injuries to employees, as they are covered under worker’s compensation insurance.
Contractual Liability
Excludes liabilities that arise from contractual agreements outside of general public liability.
Pollution or Environmental Damage
Excludes coverage for environmental damage caused by pollution or hazardous materials.
Product Defects
Does not cover claims related to defective products, which are often covered under product liability.
Punitive Damages
Excludes coverage for punitive damages that may be awarded in a court case.
War and Terrorism
Excludes liabilities arising from acts of war, terrorism, or civil disturbances.
- If the appropriate waiver is not opted for, then the policy will not cover
- Treatment of pre-existing illnesses.
- Any treatment for illnesses/diseases within the first 30 days of the policy, unless it is an accident.
- Treatment of specified illnesses for the first year of the policy.
- Certain diseases like hernia, cataract, piles, sinusitis, etc are excluded during the first year of operation in the cover.
- Any claim arising out of or traceable to pregnancy.
- Ayurvedic, homeopathy, naturopathy or any other form of local medication.
- Alcoholism, drug abuse, and AIDS.
- Dental treatment or surgery unless it requires hospitalization.
- Cost of spectacles.
- Vaccination and inoculation.
- Cosmetic treatment.
